This
precision-built power-feed slab/trim saw
has a clutch-activated power feed for slabbing that can be used in
conjunction with the crossfeed indexing rock vise. Each turn of the crossfeed handle moves the vise
1/16”, with over 2” of crossfeed travel. The vise holds up to 4” of material and can be swung clear
for handheld trimming. A toggle switch allows the saw motor to operate independently of the power
feed system for manual slabbing or trimming. The power feed system can be set for automatic shutoff.
The PF10 accepts 8", 9" and 10" blades. The 12" x 19-1/2" self-aligning tabletop is easily removable for blade changes, oil filling and tank cleaning. A large coolant tank reduces the need for frequent sludge removal. A 1/3 HP motor drives a heavy-duty 5/8" steel shaft with sealed bearings. Full belt cover is included for operator protection. Baseboard and drain pipe included. The PF10 comes with a sheet metal table cover to minimize coolant spray outside of the sawing table area. The cover has a clear top for easy viewing. The PF10 utilizes a 1/3 HP 110 volt/60Hz 5.8 Amps Continuous Duty Motor delivering 1725 RPM fixed, Ball bearings, permanently sealed. Power feed motor is 1/250 HP 110volt/60Hz Dayton shaded pole AC gearmotor delivering 4 RPM (full load) fixed with 18 inch-lbs torque utilizing Sleeve-bushing, permanently sealed with a 5/16 inch arbor. We recommend only using oil as a coolant for this saw. If water is used as a coolant tank should be drained after each use and a rust inhibitor additive utilized (i.e. Tool cool or Lube Cool). versatile trim and slab saw. Easy to use as a trim saw because the
vice rotates off to one side to free the table for trimming.
With the vice in place, you can slab rocks up to 3-1/2" in diameter.

It's built solid and rugged with cast aluminum construction with durable, impact-resistant finish.
