BATTTM Lap
(Cast Alloy)

The New Tin Standard
A good, solid cast tin alloy pre-polishing and polishing lap. This hard tin alloy allows the casting to be rigid enough to serve as a solid lap, without boinding to a base plate, or being excessively heavy. It provides sharper meets at higher speeds than are possible with laminated laps, and does it without the use of toxic metals such as lead and cadmium. Now used by hundreds of experienced and beginning gemcutters. Finished on both sides makes it more versatile than the one-sided laminated laps. Because of being a solid casting, it can be resurfaced many times to provide many years of service. It has a 1/2" arbor hole. Shipping weight for 6" is 3 lbs., 8" is 4 lbs. $85.00$113.00
