SPHERE MACHINE

Make beautiful gemstone spheres 1/4" to 1" in size, automatically. Has a dual 1/18 hp, 110 volt motor, with an automatic grit application, spring loaded cutting angle adjustment. The downward slanted cutter cups and shafts run the sphere in a bath of grit. This eliminated the need to constantly dab grit on with a brush. It also causes the grit slurry to run away from the bearings. The angle of the cutting cups can be increased as the rough corners of the sphere grind off. Both heads are spring loaded so continuous adjustment in unnecessary. Unit comes complete with 1 grind pan, instructions, guarantee, and one pair of 1/4", 3/8", 5/8", and 7/8" cups. Machine size 16" long x 8" wide x 8" high.

You will have a wonderful time making spheres with this inexpensive two head machine. It also is simple to operate yet very effective and reliable. Make spheres from 3/4" to over 5" by varying the size of the cups and the motors configuration. Each motor puts out 10-inch pounds of torque at 152 rpm. One head can be moved in and out by using a hand crank to provide quick positive adjustment for size and proper pressure.

It is portable and can be taken with you where ever you go as long as a 110v outlet or generator is available.

Comes with two sets of grinding cups and one set of polishing cups. Drip tank and separate grit cups are sold separately and are easily adjustable to maintain the correct amount of fresh grit and the proper amount water. The grinding cups are inexpensive cast iron pipe fittings or plastic fittings. You can easily change or add your own cups for making various size spheres or for replacing worn out cups. Overall size is about 36" long and about 10" wide. Comes in 110V models only at this time.

The "Cost-Saver 101" model --utilizes two reconditioned motors guaranteed for one year thereby providing a lower cost machine. Makes spheres up to 5" diameter. May not be available at this time

Now you can make spheres from 2-1/2" to 10" in size. The motors are 1/6 hp, 60 hz, 110 volt, 156 RPM, and 60 in. lb. torque. The available 220v 50 Hz runs at 130 RPM. All independent floating heads for greater control, mounted on swivel base, spring loaded and fully adjustable. Mounted on a lami-cushion base, spin handles for each head for quick adjustments and cutting ability. The unit stands 36" high with water and grit feed stand. Without it the unit stands 18" high. SPHERE PREFORMER
called "EZ Sphere"TM

Helps you make spheres three times faster
You will enjoy making spheres in less time. EZ SPHERE hooks into a vice on your slab saw (14" blade diameter minimum) and indexes your saw to cut and shape the rock into a symmetrical spherical shape. First set the rock in place and then make 12 indexed cuts. Then re-index the device and make 8 additional cuts and re-index again and make another 8 additional cuts. Now the sphere is ready to be set into the sphere machine after the remaining shallow corners have been ground down. The index system utilizes roller bearings for ease of operation. The preformer can preform spheres from 2" to 9" diameters depending on the clearance left in your slab saw and the size of your vice. Normally, this device when set in a 16" slab saw will cut up to a 7" diameter. And, normally this device when set in an 18" slab saw will cut up to an 8" diameter. You may have to drill two to four 3/8-inch holes in your vice to secure the device.
