It has the following special features:
- Angle Indicator is a Digital Readout that is easy to set, readable, and repeatable. It has been suggested that the mechanics of this system makes it equivalent to a 4 foot radial arc (48-inch protractor).
- Electronic Speed Control with smooth continuous adjustments from 1 to 1600 RPM.
- Clockwise and counterclockwise rotation of the lap at the flick of a Switch.
- Exclusive Pressure Sensor gives you direct visualization of pressure exerted on the dop arm to assure uniform facets. The Sensor Needle shows you the exact stopping point. This guarantees perfect symmetry. Imagine a .0005 inch resolution right before your eyes. Now it's easy to anticipate the stopping point when cutting each facet. It lets you see the rate and depth of cut as you work.
- Acculign Index System consists of precision index wheels and a conveniently located index lever with freewheeling provisions for preforming, rounding a girdle, or quick inspection of the stone being cut.
- Acculign Dop Chuck with exclusive Cam Lock System (not a jam-nut-collet or set screw)has no slippage with its positive locking action that provides the freedom to remove or replace Keyed Dops with perfect orientation and without having to make adjustments for realigning the stone for cutting.
- Acculign Transfer Stand has unequaled precision.
- Acculign Compounder permits minor radial adjustments for special cuts and to correct human errors. Calibrated in ¼ degree increments with a range of two degrees in either direction.
- Made of the Finest Material and Craftsmanship. All metal parts are fabricated from anodized aluminum and stainless steel. Lifetime sealed bearings. Durable polyurethane splash pan is easy to clean and protects stones against accidental damage.
- Two Quart Water Coolant System keeps your lap clear and stone cool so as not to damage either. It's easy to refill, and is fully positionable on the lap. The control valve is conveniently located away from the spout.

Faceting Kits are available to provide those items needed to attach the stone to the dops, to shape and polish a stone, and to remove the stone from the dops. These items are not provided with the machine but are sold separately or in kits.
Faceting Accessories such as Flex-stem lamps, loupes (magnifiers), OptiVisors, calipers, and stone tweezers are also available.
